FAQ for Beginners

Lesson Booking

To book a lesson slot (50 minutes per session) with Lip Ooi, please WhatsApp to (65) 9815 5773 and provide your available starting dates and times, skill level, as well as indicate if you are looking at a fixed slot or will be booking your next slot after each lesson. Lip will try to match it based on his availability. Please check fee details (Weekdays/Weekends).

Driving Range facility are open daily from 7am-11pm, except Mondays.

Golf Equipment

Lip Golf may provide golf equipment at the start. During the on-course sessions at the end, students will either be prepared to get a set of your own or rent a set. Try not to purchase any equipment before start of lesson as I will guide to towards acquiring a “suitable” equipment according to your budget after accessing your ability.

Preparation & Other Essentials

Students are encourage to come in golf or sports attire for range lessons but will require to be in proper Golf Attire whenever going on the course or practice greens area (collared T-shirt, bermudas, long pants, skirts and sports/golf shoes) and will have to purchase a range ball card ($16+) @ MBGC Counter, short rubber tee (about S$3) and golf glove (about S$10-S$30) at the MST Golf Pro-shop, opens daily from 7am-7:30pm.

Timeslot Conditions

If the group class is formed by Lip, lessons will be on a fixed day and timeslot. If you miss a class, Lip will focus on you more during the next lesson as there will be no make-up lessons provided. In the event the majority of students cannot attend a particular session, Lip will seek a consensus to cancel the session. Do note that on course lessons may be group join up due to limited tee times only.

Joining a Group

If you form your own group, you will have full flexibility to cancel your lesson providing a minimum of 48 hours advance notice to Lip directly. Otherwise, the lesson will be considered conducted.

Forming Your Own Group

Once the groups are formed, kindly appoint a group leader to liaise with Lip on the timeslots available. Please contact Lip via WhatsApp/SMS or call. If he does not answer your call, please drop him a WhatsApp/SMS. Lip will try to match your desire time-slots based on his availability.

Do allow an additional 30 minutes of travelling time (especially for first timers) to get there.

Look for Lip at driving range bays with signage located at Level 3 near to the Canopy Cafe.
